Roles: Social Media Manager, Video Co-lead
Evoke is an exhibition opened by 11 students to shed light on the psychology of type by researching the origin of type and how we perceive the world.
6 days before opening, we wanted to be discreet and enigmatic. I was tasked with scheduling and creating countdown posts leading up to the opening of our exhibition. We showed small pieces of the overall design language and kept the descriptions vague the week before the showing.
3 days before the exhibition, we started to reveal more information. Not wanting to reveal our titles just yet, I had the idea to break up our subtitle into 3 distinct parts and expand our content to include 3 smaller headings that would add to our overall brand language.
Thinking of how the posts would look on our Instagram page, I wanted a layout that teased the next post allowing for each post to organically flow into each other.
The final 3 posts reveals the full name of the exhibition: Evoke. The subtitle is able to be read in the final post and throughout the spread.
As co-lead of video team, I drafted and finalized ideas for the gallery video that would play on loop during the duration of the exhibition. I drafted an animatic for the final video, scheduled and planned film days, and assisted in the production.
